Autumn is covering Atlantic and Cumberland counties for Atlantic City Focus through this fellowship. A South Jersey–based journalist from Buena, New Jersey, she is a graduate of Oakcrest High School and Rowan University, where she studied Radio, Television, and Film. Her experience includes work in public media with Rowan Radio, WHYY, and PhillyCAM, grounding her reporting in strong community ties. Autumn is committed to telling local stories with care and accuracy while continuing to grow her pitching, reporting, and writing skills.
James is covering Camden and Gloucester counties for Black In Jersey.com as part of this fellowship. He is a journalist with five years of experience covering education, business, sports, and feature stories, and he began his career as an intern at The Philadelphia Inquirer. Currently reporting for The Philadelphia Tribune, the nation’s oldest continuously published African American newspaper, James focuses on stories that highlight underrepresented communities. A Rowan University graduate, he aims to deepen his narrative and investigative reporting while enjoying time at the gym, playing piano, and being with family.
Kadaysha is covering Gloucester County for Front Runner NJ through this fellowship. She is a multifaceted communications professional with experience in storytelling across visual, written, and audio mediums, and she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Thomas Jefferson University in 2024. Her background includes advocacy work at a Houston foster care facility and artist relations at Essence Festival 2025, where she supported talent logistics and operations. Through internships and hands-on experience in media production, brand development, and community engagement, Kadaysha is committed to creating meaningful and empathetic content.
Monique is a contributing writer for The Quintessential Gentleman, Stay Focused, and Legacy magazines. Her work spans feature profiles, news recaps, and film reviews, reflecting her strong voice in cultural and media coverage. She holds a B.A. in Writing Arts from Rowan University and brings both analytical and creative perspectives to her work. Outside of journalism, Monique is an avid reader, film enthusiast, and active volunteer in her church and community.
