The South Jersey Emerging Journalists Project (SJEJP) is an independent initiative dedicated to supporting content creators and emerging journalists from underserved communities across Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Salem, Cumberland, and Atlantic counties.
Through fellowships, partnerships, and community engagement, SJEJP works to ensure that South Jersey’s diverse stories are told, heard, and shared.
According to National Public Radio, 2020 had the most people vote in over a century, with 67% of eligible voters in the United States casting ballots in the presidential election. However, this still leaves a third of the population, over 100 million people, that did not.
